As part of the “International Management” lecture, we were delighted to welcome Dr. Sebastian Kreft, co-founder and Managing Director of Metalshub, as a guest speaker. In his lecture entitled “Global Raw Material Sourcing”, he shared fascinating insights into the market conditions of global raw material markets, highlighting the special challenges management faces in this highly internationalized industry. Dr. Sebastian Kreft guided the students through the market processes of the world's most important metals, starting from the geographical mining locations to the current megatrends in the industry through to the price mechanisms. He also addressed the role of the emission footprints of raw materials, which are recorded by Metalshub to promote the transparency of supply chain processes in order to promote the industry's sustainability goals.

After the presentation, Sebastian Kreft took questions from the students. Thank you very much for the inspiring insights!
