New article on family businesses and digitization

Prof. Dr. Graf-Vlachy publishes study in Journal of Family Business Strategy

Prof. Dr. Graf-Vlachy, jointly with colleagues from the University of Passau and WHU, publishes an article on family businesses in a special issue of the Journal of Family Business Strategy. In the article, the authors use the emergence of e-commerce in the U.S. retail industry to investigate whether family-influenced firms invest faster and more aggressively in discontinuous innovation. The results are surprising in that different measures of classifying firms into family and non-family firms lead to different conclusions.
