Content Overview

In this module central management topics are discussed. These concepts relate to the fundamental decisions of an entire company. Specifically, the management functions of planning, organization, personnel, leadership and control are discussed with strategic and operational facets. In all five management functions, there is a presentation of the theoretical foundations, supplemented by practical current application areas of these theories. The value of theories, also for practical activities in management tasks, is derived and conveyed. The course presents the central "frameworks" of management and strategy theory along the five management functions.
